台球运动知识术语有哪些 怎样正确理解规则、球势和名称，关系到裁判判决正确与否、比赛正常进行和技术探讨。
这里简要介绍一下台球术语和准确的定义。
1. 场(Match)
比赛双方商定或比赛组织者规定的决定胜负的若干局比赛称为一场。
如9局5胜、19局10胜等。
2. 局(Game)
比赛双方商定或比赛组织者规定的决定胜负的.若干盘比赛称为一局。
如9盘5胜、19盘10胜等。
3. 盘(Frame)
从开球开始，直至一方运动员认输，或只剩下一个黑球时，击球落袋或犯规称为一盘。
4. 主球(cue-ball)
运动员从始至终用球杆直接击打的球，并利用该球运动的力量撞击其它球而得分，这个球叫做主球。
5. 目标球(Object balls)
比赛中运动员需要用主球击中的球称为目标球。
6. 击球运动员(Striker)
运动员开始击球，在一击球或一杆球结束之前，也就是裁判员宣布“失机”或“犯规”之前，这个运动员保持着击球运动员的身份。
7. 一击球(Stroke)
凡是运动员用杆顶端皮头击打主球，无论是否得分、犯规或失机都称为一杆球。
8. 一杆球(Break)
击球运动员从第一次击球得分起，再次击球得分，连续击球得分直至失机、犯规违例为止，在这一个轮次中的一系列击球的总和称为一杆球。
9. 手中球(In-hand)
每盘比赛开球前，或主球落袋，或主球出界，或裁判员裁定主球持在运动员手中，没在开球区击球，均称为手中球。
此时，击球运动员可在开球区内有利于自己击球的任何一点，向任一方向，将主球击出。
10局中球(Ball in play)
从每盘比赛开始，到每盘比赛结束之间，除手中球外，均称为局中球。
11活球(Ball on)
根据规则规定，允许用主球直接撞击的球称为或球。
12指定球(Nominated ball)
击球运动员击球前，向裁判员声明所要击打的目标球，称为指定球。
在各种台球打法中都有具体规定，击打指定球时，可以报号数，可以报分数，也可以报球的颜色或向裁判员示意和用球杆指点。
13死球(Snookered)
称为死球的球是指主球。
斯诺克(Snooker)：主球在任何能够撞击到活球的所有直线线路上，被一个或多个非活球阻挡的时候，主球便称为死球
